In our most recent online survey, we explored how feed formulation experts leverage social media to stay informed about industry trends and insights. The results are in, and they shed light on the growing influence of social media in the agricultural sector.
A significant 62.35% of respondents actively follow agricultural influencers on LinkedIn, demonstrating the platform’s role as a key source of professional insights and networking. LinkedIn’s professional environment makes it an ideal space for experts to share knowledge, discuss innovations, and stay updated with industry developments.
Meanwhile, 13.36% of the surveyed experts turn to Instagram for their feed formulation updates. Instagram’s visual and engaging format allows influencers to showcase practical applications, share success stories, and visually represent the latest trends and techniques in feed formulation.
Interestingly, 3.65% of respondents use TikTok to follow agricultural influencers. While a smaller percentage, TikTok’s rapid growth and dynamic content format offer a unique way to engage with industry trends and insights in short, impactful videos.
Additionally, 20.64% of respondents indicated that they are not interested in following agricultural influencers on social media. This suggests a diverse range of preferences and highlights the importance of multiple channels for information dissemination.
